JC Ready 4 Work Ltd is a non-profit organisation which was established in 2012 to provide mentoring programs for individuals with multiple barriers to employment and personal well-being within the local communities of Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. These could be in the form of IT assistance, personal development, first aid courses, help gaining CSCS cards, or just assistance in improving confidence. We tailor our help to the individual more than we make the individual fit a pattern, so our assistance to those in need is very varied.

We proactively engage partnerships with local organisations that are presently supporting individuals, via sustainability through employability and accredited skills training.

JC Ready 4 Work offer a wide range of courses available to public, these includes:

Employability - Interview techniques, completing online application forms, job searching, work placements

Health - Sustainable Lifestyles, cooking, emotional wellbeing

Skills - Basic IT Skills, English My Way, Customer Service, Over 50's club

Sustainability - NVQ's, Traineeships, Financial Debt Advice, "Better Off In Work" calculations

Commercial - Food Hygiene Courses, CSCS Training, First Aid courses, consultation.

Environmental - Recycling

Waste - Garden Services, Community Improvement

Who can access the services?

We work primarily with the homeless, recovering substance misusers and long term unemployed but will work with any resident in Hull or the surrounding areas that is in need.

How can the services be accessed?

We work primarily with the unemployed to help gain confidence, new skills, and training where needed. We also offer help with Debt advice and money management, please see website for more information on all our services.
